Vintage 3 Speed English Bicycles

Western Flyer 3 Speed

P1110377 P1110379 P1110381 P1110383A Western Flyer branded British 3 speed seen on the street. The orange/rust colour makes me think it might be a Dunelt.

Genuine English Lightweight!

This definitely looks to be a Raleigh frame and it is a Raleigh red, so would appear to be an export only brand for the Canadian / U.S. market. It’s a new one on me !

I have a Western Flyer Tourist, 3 speed Sturmey Archer that I would like to get appraised… I live in Indiana near Chicago. Bike looks very similar to this red one but with some slight differences like it has a rack on the back and a couple other very slight differences. Thanks!

I have a WF English (Raleigh?) from the lat 1950’s too. Has the Raleigh trimmings like “Made in England” and the rear dropout fender eyelet is on the rear of the flange. Also has a sticker on the seat tube marked “HER 2093-F. Anyone know what the sticker means? Could it be for the women’s frame? Or wasn’t there a Hercules bike in the 1850s?
