I KNOW IM GOING TO GET SLAPPED AROUND FOR MY COMMENT….IN 2013 AT AGE 69 ..I DECIDED I WANTED A 3 SPEED LIKE I RODE IN MY TEENS…NOW I HADENT RODE FOR 50 YRS…DIDNT KNOW DOODLY SQUAT ABOUT RALEIGH ARE THE BRITISH 3 SPEEDS….I STARTED READING….ONLY THING I COULD FIND WAS A RALEIGH 3S WOMENS…MY FIRST RIDE WAS ABOUT ONE BLOCK MY BUTT AND LEGS WERE HURTING…..(LOL NOT THE BIKES FAULT)….ALSO DIDNT LIKE THE WOMANS BIKE…I KEPT SEARCHING AND FOUND A SCHWINN 3S TRAVELER 1963 ONE OWNER….HAD TO DRIVE 100 MILES TO GET IT…REALLY REALLY LIKED IT…BUT I KEPT ON READING AND THINKING I WAS MISSING SOMETHING BY NOT HAVING A RALEIGH…..FINALLY FOUND A RALIEGH SPORT 1968…HAD TO DO WORK ON IT NEW CABLES AND HOUSINGS AND SOME OTHER THING…COULD HARDLY WAIT TILL I COULD RIDE IT,,,,I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED MY EXPECTATIONS WERE SO HIGH…….NOW DONT GET ME WRONG THE RALIEGH LOOKS GOOD…ITS SEEMS LIGHTER BUT I DONT KNOW ….. IT IS..ITS MORE NIMBLE…BUT THE SCHWINN IS SMOTHER RIDING AND MORE COMFORTABLE….I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ONE MORE RALIEGH …BUT I PREFER RIDING THE SCHWINN……..WHEN I FIRST STARTED RIDING IN APRIL 2013 ONE TRIP AROUND MY SUBDIVISION WAS ENOUGH…ITS SEVEN TENTHS OF A MILE…THEN I INCREASED TO 3 LAPS THE TEN THEN 11 BY SEPT I WAS RIDING 20 LAPS AT A TIME….I THINK IT WAS SEPT ..I RODE TEN IN THE MORNING THEN MORE MID MORNING…NOW 20 WAS USUALLY ENOUGH…I CAME OUT AROUND 5 PM TO DO FOUR ARE FIVE LAPS…THEN I THOUGH WHY NOT 10…AT TEN I SAID WHY NOT 15…THEN 20 THEN 25 THEN 30 ….I ENDED UP AT 34 THE LAST TWO MY FEET WERE SLIPPING OFF THE PEDALS..AND WAS GOING OFF THE STREET INTO PEOPLED YARDS…I FINALLY MADE IT UP MY DRIVEWAY INTO MY GRAGE I GOT OFF THE BIKE AND COULDNT STAND WITH OUT HOLDING ON TO SOMETHING…TOTAL LAPS FOR THE DAY 64…..I HAVE THE 1968 RALIEGH…TWO 1968 SCHWINN RACERS AND THE 1968 TR
    AVELER…WILL BUY ANOTHER RALIEGH IF I FIND A DECENT DEAL
