Hello, I am brand new here. I have a 1979 Raleigh Superb 3 spd with a dynamo on the front. I took the front wheel off, cleaned everything up, did not take the magnet assembly apart. Anyways, I put it all back together, correctly I thought. Apparently this is not the case. When the wheel turns, the whole assembly where the wires hook up turns as well. Not sure where I went wrong. I can seem to find a parts diagram for this that would show where everything goes. Can anyone help?

If you scroll down the site there’s a youtube tutorial on rebuilding a Dynohub, Sept 17/2017
Have a look and see if it helps.
