Vintage Bridgestone

Similar to a bike I bought in Hamilton earlier this year, the owner/seller of this one calls it a Randonneur bike, made in Japan by Bridgestone in 1971.

Below, another one that’s recently appeared on Kijiji at a very reasonable $150.00.

Has this bicycle recently been stolen from your friend? I saw a similar one pop up on Craigslist and I asked the seller where they acquired it from and questions about the bicycle. The only response I received was “No.” Questionable.

    • Thanks for the heads up. The black one belongs to my friend and the white one was on Kijiji last year.

Oh my confusion then. How did you get the seller down on the price? The seller of this bike is a bit of an ego maniac and prices his bikes a bit high. I want to buy it but he’s hard to negotiate with. Do you think $390 is reasonable for this listing?

      • The one I bought last year was from New Hope (A Co op) for 100.00. This white one (Different from the one in my post) has more original parts i.e the light arrays and the rear rack.
I think $250.00 (my opinion) would be reasonable.
